This season marked Christopher bailey’s final show as president and chief creative officer of Burberry. Since the early 2000s Christopher has lead Burberry into the modern age with unique, innovative and dynamic designs. As Riccardo Tisci gets ready to take the position of creative director, Christopher’s time at Burberry ends in a collection filled with rainbows.
The collection was an homage to Christopher seventeen years at Burberry with signature Burberry style moments. With the nostalgic moments that have been seen on a lot of runways. This collection was bright, and streetwear inspired. Each look burst onto the runway, the colours really told a story, with the rainbow motif. Most of the looks had a loose structure adding an element of cool and casual. The collection was cohesive, yet each look was able to have its moment through the use of colour and styling.
