From Balmain to Versace, the hottest beauty trends this spring are everything! It may be one of my favourite seasons yet… Its all about neutral tones and minimalism. Nude colours and soft browns. Together with killer statements hairdo’s, like at Marc Jacob’s show with vibrant coloured dreadlocks and Dior’s statement braids under a neatly done up bun, which gave an edgy ballerina vibe.

Fendi teamed bold black liner with glitter gloss lips at their Milan show. Elie Saab’s MAC makeup artists with longwear fluidline and small angled brush to draw a small half flick around the outer corners of the eyes and subtle nude lips to pair. Again with the ‘no makeup look’, Versace did poker straight long hair and always completely nude makeup with subtle white shimmer in the inner corner.

Givenchy went for the ‘just got out the pool and i want to look cute look’, which personally isn’t my favourite, but when you have models like Kendal Jenner and Gigi Hadid sporting the look… you cant really go wrong with it.

Balmain’s looks was one of my favourites, with a lightly stained metallic kohl on the lids and soft peach lips.

Although the obvious theme this spring/summer 2017 is the ‘nude’ and ‘clean makeup’ look, their were also vibes of the eighties on the runways. Lipstick-bright blush was seen on the temples of Kenzo, Adam Selman and Chanel, side-swept curls also made their mark at Topshop and colour-pop pastel lids at Nina Ricci. Also, Marc Jacobs’s entire show was inspired by the eighties rave culture, like i said before, with coloured dreadlocks and metallic eye make-up. So lets dig out our crimpers and give our fresh-face spring/summer look with an eighties twist.
