London is one of the biggest fashion capitols in the world. Twice a year, fashion lovers, journalists, stylists and models go there to see upcoming trends for Fall/Winter 2014/2015. Even though it lasts less than seven days, London Fashion Week always feels like a seemingly endless whirlwind of fashion shows, appointments and parties. However, everything what’s good ends too quickly, London Fashion Week’s atmosphere will last till the next edition in October.
LFW is a mekha for very young, talented designers that have just graduated from Art Collages. The most known fashion designers that were discovered on London Fashion Week were: Stella McCarney, Christopher Kane and Alexander McQueen. Those big names encourgae thousands of people to see the shows and follow the latest trends.
We could already have seen the Menswear Part of London Fashion Week where the most popular designers such as Lee Roach, Richard Nicoll, JW Anderson showed their amazingly fresh collections. Bold prints, bright colors and luxurious materials are making a perfect composition for confident and fashion-conscious men.
From year to year, the level of fashion shows is going higher and higher and we are able to see amazing collections with innovative and creative pieces of clothing that all fashionistas would love to wear. This year we will be able to see surprising fashion collections from emerging fashion designers such as Abcense, 1205, Dressedundressed, Jena.Theo, Kate Sheridan, Katrien Van Hecke, Keely Hunter Millinery and many, many more..
The atmosphere before LFW is heating up the fact that Jackie Js Lee, Nasir Mazharand Sophia Webster are this year Fashion Forward winners from the British Fashion Council!
We cannot wait to see this year’s edition of London Fashion Week and see rising stars of fashion design as well as the upcoming Fall/Winter 2014/2015 trends that everyone will definetely love – just becaue of the fact that trends are not changing our style every season, but rather give us freedom to choose how we wanna look.
Remember ! „Don’t be into trends. Don’t make fashion own you, but you decide what you are, what you want to express by the way you dress and the way you live” Gianni Versace
