London Fashion Week has finally kicked off for the Fall season of 2015. Best way to start, is one of Mess’s much loved designers of the moment Jamie Wei Huang. We’ve seen a contrast this season. Instead of pale yellows, soft pinks and blues from SS15, we’ve had hardcore, grunge, sweat and heavy metal loving.
It was the clash of the textures. With leather, fur and cotton flowing down the catwalk throughout the show, means this collection can fit around any fashionista’s style needs. Key pieces included fluffy backpacks, leather jackets, fur sleeves, and tailored jackets.
To vamp up on the Fall vibe, the collection held a palette of dark reds, blues, blacks, whites and dusty greys. With sweat look hair, and pale faced models, the overall show was like stepping into a whole new sub-culture of fashion. Topped with the soundtrack of Rammenstein, it was sure one to remember kicking off the LFW AW15 at Fashion Scout.
