The Wearable Art Gala 2022 Best and Most Daring Looks.

At this year’s Wearable Art Gala A listers gathered in Santa Monica, California, to relive the history of Harlem celebrating the fashions of the 1920s-50s. After two years away, this was a night to remember with the likes of Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, Lori Harvey, Angela Bassett and many more embracing the beauty and history of Harlem renaissance. Presented by Richard Lawson and Tina Knowles Lawson, the Art Gala was designed to fund artistic and youth mentorship programs.

“Each year we find a theme that connects us historically with our past,” Richard Lawson.  “We explore the evolution of African culture in the western world.”

From Lori Harvey’s custom ombré purple dress designed by Ibrahima Gueye to the bejeweled navy gown Halle Bailey chose for the occasion.
