Manish Arora SS16 Review

Indian Fashion designer, Manish Arora, who was the appointed creative director of the womenswear collection of the French fashion house, Paco Rabbane, demonstrates his keen taste in vivid and energetic colours in his SS16 collection at Paris Fashion Week along with an energetic show to match. An inferno of beautifully embellished garments, creating a fun like theme towards the collection, with a less sports luxe approach and a more fairytale and 70’s pop style twist.

Frills, cropped jackets, layering and ditsy pop patterns, we are definitely seeing a new take on chic 70’s by Manish Arora for 2016. Arora also incorporated the distinct ‘gypsy’ theme into his collection with the unmistakable layered skirts, the off-the-shoulder Esmerelda tops, psychedelic patterns along with embellishments such as fluorescent plastic flowers, gold accessories and mirrored sequins. Arora’s collection is definitely not for the faint hearted – that’s for sure!
