Lone Design Club (LDC) connects people to ethical and independent fashion and lifestyle brands. Not only does LDC make it so much easier to access sustainably and ethically made clothing, accessories, and home goods, but they also offer experiences, events, and brand support for independent designers.

Pia Conaghan is a London based designer who’s quietly been establishing a name for herself and her brand since 2010. Her luxurious collection of lingerie, Studio Pia, is available to purchase through LDC. Studio Pia lingerie is sustainably and ethically made from cruelty free, organic, peace silk. Peace silk is GOTS certified, made without killing silkworms, and is hand dyed with non-toxic dyes.

Every piece of lingerie from Studio Pia, like the Petra Bodysuit pictured below, is manufactured either in London or Romania. Workers are paid living wages and Studio Pia has high standards for working conditions. The company uses as much deadstock as possible, and for every purchase made, one tree is planted through a collaboration with One Tree Planted.

The bras, panties, harnesses, collars, and bodysuits that are Studio Pia are designed to flatter a wide range of body types. They’re inspired by the worlds of fine art and couture, and are made with the utmost care and craftsmanship.

Thanks to Pia Conagahn and Studio Pia, there’s no longer a gap in the market for luxurious, creative, and ethically made lingerie. There’s nothing better than looking good and feeling good about what you’re wearing and where it came from.
