Who are you?
My name is Waters Riley I am 24 years old. I have a fashion blog called Street Fem. I am from Hawaii currently living in Missouri.
How would you describe your style in 3 words?
edgy, structured, & chic.
Can you tell us about your blog and what inspired you to start it?
My blog consist of edgy street wear and structured grunge styles. What inspired me to start blogging was the fascination of Jeffrey Campbell shoes and Lookbook.nu. I started purchasing Jeffrey Campbell shoes because they were unique. I also decided to be a blogger because I wanted to show off how I styled my Jeffrey’s, which resulted in posting photos on Lookbook, creating a website and getting emails from up and coming brands to promote there products.
What do you think will be the big hits fashion wise for next season?
Most likely the 70’s/bohemian trend, which is currently trending, but I think the 70’s will be combined with 90’s wear to create a more bohemian edgy look.
Where do you tend to buy your clothes and why?
I like to go to thrift stores maybe once a month and I shop online at ASOS, Urban Outfitters, Nasty Gal, and Dolls kill.
Do you have any fashion rules when putting an outfit together?
Not really, I try to put a outfit together with an open mind, where anything is possible. I always take a photo of myself in the mirror to see what it looks like, then I can depict which items I’d like to wear or not wear while analyzing the photo. But if I were to pick one or two rules that I have to have before leaving the house it would be to have something on that is fitted and a good pair of eyebrows.
Where do you find the inspiration for your blog posts?
Tumblr, outside weather, and Lookbook.nu
Who or what inspires you with you fashion style?
Fashion bloggers, designers and actors inspire me. My favourite fashion bloggers are Vu Thien from Bloody Roses and Lina Bugz. My favourite designer, Rick Owens, he has this edgy industrial design that always amazes me. I also love Gwen Stefani, Angelina Jolie, and Sarah Jessica Parker.
What have been your best/favourite collaborations in the past?
My favourite past collaboration was from a website called Ifchic, I had to make a Youtube video for a pair of shoes I picked out, the Miista Yolanda Gradient Boot. The Miista boots were and are still are my favourite shoes I own. The Youtube video was my first video I had to create, which was a lot of fun, it showcased how I styled the boots and how to get coins from Ifchic to use as spending money.
Any future projects?
Yes, I have a couple of blog post collaborations, where I create a wishlist of my favourite items from the companies website. I also have a dress and a pair of shoes I’m looking forward to taking photos in from Lightinthebox.com
Who is the most interesting/famous person you met on your blogging journey?
I haven’t met anyone in person, but I’ve had short conversations over social media with fashion bloggers from Paris, Taiwan, and Bangkok, that was interesting and fun getting to know them.

Teaching myself how to create a website and understanding SEO.
