Fashion Highlights from The 65th Annual Grammy Awards Emily Downie February 7, 2023 MESSFashion After an unforgettable evening of gorgeous music spectacles and history-in-the-making moments at the 65th annual Grammy Awards, we take a look back at the iconic fashion moments that we’ll be reminiscing over for years to come. Kim Petras Kim made history at the 65th annual Grammy Awards as the first openly transgender woman to win a Grammy (we would like to mention the transgender musician Wendy Carlos who also won a Grammy in 1970, but only came out publicly as trans in 1979). In an emotional speech she thanked those who had helped her get to this stage, including all the “incredible transgender legends before me who kicked these doors open for me so I could be here”. Kim stunned in a red vintage dress by Victor Costa.
