The word feminism has been thrown all around the media these past few weeks, from catwalk to campaign, it is on the of the biggest subject affecting thousands.
Woman are stepping down all around, either sticking to feminism or pushing for equality. So who’s played a huge part recently under the word?

The recent campaign, created by Emma Watson, is about pushing for equality and stopping feminism. Speaking on behalf, of all woman and men, Emma Watson made a clear statement during a UN conference about how gender equality is needed now.
Following her speech Emma Watson has a gained a handful of big named followers, to push forward the campaign. People such as Tom Hiddleston, Will Smith, Harry Styles, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Chris Colfer and Simon Pegg.
The campaign has already made a huge impact globally, with 184,789 men already signed themselves up to the campaign.
CHANEL MAKE A PROTEST
With fashion week for all cities has recently just ended, we look back some of the most iconic catwalks. Topping last years ‘supermarket ‘ setting on the catwalk for A/W14, Karl created the first ever all-model protest.
With some of the biggest names taking part, such as Cara Delevingne, Daphne Groeneveld, Kendall Jenner, Lindsey Wixon and Gisele Bundchen, it was one of the most anticipated shows of PFW.
Chanel’s policical view on feminism was key, with models stomping down with fashion inspired board signs, ongoing chants and dressed head to toe in SS15. “Make Fashion Not War”, “History is Herstory” and “Ladies First” were just a few of the signs making a statement.
Additionally the only male during the show, held a sign with”HE FOR SHE”, supporting Emma Watson’s campaign.
