Milan Fashion Week: Moschino Kasia Piersa February 22, 2014 Designers, Fashion Weeks, MESSFashion So it’s settled then. If you had any shadow of a doubt about it, it’s now completely clear – Jeremy Scott is a genius. The king of modern culture, not in a pseudo-vanguardesque way, but modern culture just as it is. A little bit trashy, but dear to us, because it’s the culture we live in. Instead of constantly complaining about people eating too much empty calories, dressing somewhat sloppy and generaly living too fast in a painfully consumerist society, Jeremy Scott embraces all of these and shows us, yet again, that everything has it’s bright side. The scandals and affairs has always been there, so the only thing that changes throughout the decades is technology and… our way of thinking! Isn’t that much more positive and good mood-friendly to accept the omnipresence of fast foods than fighting the idea of them, God only knows for what reason?… Replying to those who claimed it’s not right for an American to become Creative Director of an Italian fashion house, Scott showed up in a T-shirt with a very clear statement: “I don’t speak Italian, but I do speak Moschino”. Oh yes, Jeremy Scott, you do!
