Did you know that Parabal Gurung show got streaked? Some clown walked straight to the runway in a pair of thongs and a leather jacket. But we won’t let that inconsiderate person ruin the impression we had after seeing the entire show!
First few silhouettes from the collection were, as usually, quite tranquil – earthy colors, mixed textures, irregular shapes, and so it started… The prints! It’s what we always wait for the most. This time they are ultimately mesmerising, resembling the Rorschach inklbot test a little bit (for those lucky ones who avoided any psychological education – google it!)… And then it gets better. Asymmetrical forms, tangled fabrics, fluffy accessories, most of them kept in a mild orange color, but with a bold and fiery undertone… When Sasha Luss appeared as one of the last models on the catwalk in an orange gown, it looked like the show was set on fire! And it had nothing to do with actually destroying it…
