NY FW Fall 2014: Rag and Bone Kasia Piersa February 8, 2014 Fashion Weeks, MESSFashion Rag and Bone is the essence of street, laid-back vibe that every hip trenstetters simply have to include in their daily wardrobe now. So no wonder why we all waited for the fall ’14 R’n’B show, but to be completely honest – it didn’t impress us too much. Why? The collection is very uneven – we’re not so sure about the loosen boots and tight leggies put in cerca 100% of presented silhouettes for some reason. And, above all that, the designs are not consisent – each and every model look like they come from different shows! That’s always a no go – the collection can’t be complete if it has no common denominator for all the looks. Another no-go is the lack of shapes – we know that oversize is a thing now, but seriously, where’s the artistry if the clothes just don’t have any forms at all? There are pieces that stand out from kind of mellow rest – like the coat that Jac modeled with or Sam Rollinson’s jacket, but they’re still not that mind-blowing… Is it just us or you get the same feeling about the Rag and Bone fall ’14 looks?
