Serotoninn is a young womenswear brand based in Ukraine. The brand was launched in 2018 by young designer Lena Stepanenko.
She was born and raised in Kyiv, Ukraine. After studying medicine she moved to Germany at the age of 25. Lena worked as a surgeon there for 7 years before turning to fashion and studying at the Conde Nast College of Fashion and Design in London, 2018. Her pieces are described as chic-grunge, perfect for someone after something a bit different. The clash of Ukrainian profound sensitivity and dramatism with a German mindset of ‘‘ hard work pays off“ – is demonstrated in her wild style.
While the Ukrainian way of viewing life provides deep access to the feelings of oneself and those around you, the German way allows one to gain confidence and realize your potential.
