The VMA’s have yet again graced our screens, in which we see Madison Square transformed into a hotspot for glamour and star studded excitement. The most anticipated award shows is always sure to bring phenomenal live performances and undeniable drama but not forgetting an abundance of to die for looks. Here’s some of the more memorable looks from the VMA’s 2016
Of course Beyonce, the incontestable queen of the VMA’s made one of the most boldest fashion choices, wearing a decadent beaded fishtail gown with impactful duck-egg-blue feather shoulders by Francesco Scognamiglio Couture. Hand in hand with Blue Ivy, in a Tiara and equally as majestic gown, Beyonce confirmed her title of Queen Bee, and musical royalty.

Where as Beyonce went super bold with her look, Nicki Minaj sported a more muted looks compared to her previous award show styling. Minaj stunned in a regal navy Harry Kotlar mermaid gown with mesh panels, that gave delivered both high glamour and edge. Styled with sleek long black locks and minimal jewelry, Harry Kotlar’s creation was worn in all its glory.

Angel and Topshop’s new cool girl Taylor Hill sports a ruby red Moschino gown with a torn edge aesthetic juxtaposing with high glamour sparkle. The one shoulder adds elegant and teamed with the raw edge makes for a bold and memorable gown.

Curve model and body positive influencer Ashley Graham follows the prevalent ‘naked dress’ trend wearing a sheer embellished pewter dress designed by Naeem Khan. The lace and embellishment gives off serious Gatsby vibes but Graham keeps the look up with a newly cut bob haircut.

Model and activist Winnie Harlow definitely pushed boundaries in terms of accessories sporting a bejeweled face net by Erickson Beamon. Harlow followed the one shoulder trend in a voluminous layered tulle mocha-hued gown by Nicolas Jebran, with a thigh high split and elegant wrap detailing. Teamed with gladiator stilettos and wild hair Harlow’s look was seriously majestic.

Lady in red Tinashe’s look oozed elegance wearing a sophisticated draping ensemble with red pants, tank and choker. Teamed with sleek hair and minimal gold jewelry, this look was simple but striking.

Supermodel Naomi Campbell looked chic as always opting for a velvet mini dress by Brandon Maxwell in a stunning seafoam shade with a striking shape. Teamed with gold heals and confident ruby slipper glitter lips.
