The Witch City is definitely on top of the list and every year attracts hundreds of tourists, being one of the most tempting places on the East Coast. The town was made famous by the notorious witchcraft trials in 1692 that executed twenty people on charges of witchcraft. Salem pays tribute all the year to the town’s history but in October the city goes all out with haunted houses, events, parades and performers. If witches are not really your thing why not trying with vampires? This region of Romania is indeed, well known for its most popular place, the Dracula Castle and its vampire tradition. I am pretty sure that once you will hear the stories about them you will totally understand why Kutna Hora is such an iconic city when it comes to Halloween.
