The Witch City is definitely on top of the list and every year attracts hundreds of tourists, being one of the most tempting places on the East Coast. The town was made famous by the notorious witchcraft trials in 1692 that executed twenty people on charges of witchcraft. Salem pays tribute all the year to the town’s history but in October the city goes all out with haunted houses, events, parades and performers. If witches are not really your thing why not trying with vampires? This region of Romania is indeed, well known for its most popular place, the Dracula Castle and its vampire tradition. Halloween is the most appropriate time of the year to visit it, since events and celebrations constantly take place.

I am pretty sure that once you will hear the stories about them you will totally understand why Kutna Hora is such an iconic city when it comes to Halloween.

The hill of crosses is indeed another top destination for Halloween and you will soon understand why. Here Halloween is called the Day of Dead and it actually consists of two full days of celebrations. New York is a city worth visiting every time of the year. However, during Halloween it becomes even more special due to the huge parade that takes place every year in the Greenwich Village. Million people with costumes and masks will wait for you there together with musicians, dancers and puppeteers.
