Do you recognize that beauty? You already should, but if you don’t – here’s why we present Josephine Skriver to you!
She was born in Copenhagen in 1993 and her current career is a bit different from what her parents do for living – Josephine’s mother is an IT analyst and her father is a marine biologist (both parents are LGBT community members). As a teenager Jojo went to New York where she was asked whether she considered modeling career. Josephine considered and got signed by Unique Copenhagen after she returned to Denmark.
So far she walked for designers such as Calvin Klein, Rag&Bone, Gucci, Dolce&Gabbana, Balenciaga, Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, Valentino, she once opened the show for Alberta Ferretti and closed one for Prada! As for the campaigns she starred in, from the top of our head are Max Mara, Bvlgari, Michael Kors and DKNY. She worked with many photographers, among them Terry Richardson (for H&M collection), Steven Meisel (for Vogue Italia), Tim Walker (for Vogue US) and Patrick Demarchelier. And in 2013 she added the appearance at Victoria’s Secret Show to her resumee, which we can’t deny, is absolutely impressive for a 20 year old.
Jojo (as she adresses herself) is a very active Instagram user (her account is @josephine_skriver). She updates her pictures almost everyday and they’re the source of fresh informations about that soon-to-be a supermodel!
